Chapter 3 Exponents Key Facts :-

  •  If a number is multiplied by itself, the product so obtained is called the Square of the number. Thus, 
  • The square of a natural number is called a perfect square.
  • A perfect square is never negative.
  • The square of an even number is even.
  • The square of an odd number is odd.
  • If n is not a perfect square, then   is not a rational number.
