Exercise 4 (C), Composite Mathematics class 7th by S.K. Gupta and Anubhuti Gangal

Hello Everyone welcome to UTUG Education. We will see the solution of Composite Mathematics class 7th by S.K. Gupta and Anubhuti Gangal of S.Chand School Publication.

This is your Chapter – 4 , Integers of the book this is the part of Number system unit which is your 1st unit of the book.

Key Facts:-

  • A number of the form p/q, where p and q are positive integers, is called a fractional number.
  • A number of the form p/q, where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0, is called a rational number.
  • Every integer is a rational number but a rational number need not be an integer. e.g., -5= -5/1 is a rational number but 3/7 is not an integer.
  • Every fractional number is a rational number but a rational number need not be a fraction, e.g., 6/7 is a rational number but 6/-7 is not a fractional number.
  • Every positive rational number is greater than zero.
  • Every negative rational number is less than zero.
  • Every rational number can be represented on a number line.
