  • Number written in decimal form are called decimal numbers.
  • A decimal numbers has two parts, the whole number part and decimal part.
  • The number of digits in the decimal parts is the number of decimal places.
  • To add or subtract decimal number write the number one below the other so that the decimal points are in one vertical line. Then add or subtract.
